Prime Time Service

Description

Prime time appointment bookings allow applicants to make an appointment at the New Delhi, Visa Application Centre at a convenient time, on Saturday, at an additional cost for each appointment.

Applicants can either book this service online while scheduling their appointment using the ‘Schedule an appointment’ module by selecting dates on Saturday. Prime time appointments will be available Saturday between 10:00 till 16:00.

VFS Global is an outsource partner of the Embassy of France in New Delhi. In this capacity VFS Global receives from the Visa Applicants, the required documents and applicable fees and is responsible for scheduling of appointments for submitting visa applications at French Consular services in INDIA., After the visa applications are assessed by the Visa Section of the Embassy of France, VFS Global handles the collection of the processed passports from the French Consular services in INDIA and returning the passport back to the Visa Applicants.

The Visa Applicants are requested to note: that there are circumstances where in French Consular services in INDIA will hand over the passport to the Applicants directly.

VFS Global does hereby declare that they have no role whatsoever in the assessment of a visa application, which is the sole prerogative of the Visa Section of the Embassy of France. Therefore, VFS Global is not liable for any delay in processing or rejection of the visa application. Whilst every precaution is taken while handling the passport of Applicants, due to unforeseen events and circumstances, the passport be lost in transit by accident, theft, natural calamities (act of god) and also if documents are handed over directly to the Visa Applicant by the Embassy of France or any other reason, VFS Global will not be liable or responsible in any manner to the Applicant for the same.

The Visa Applicant accepts that the courier acceptance and delivery service is operated by a third-party, and VFS Global does not assume any responsibility or liability for any deficiency in service on part of the courier company. VFS Global shall have no liability for any delays, or for loss of or damage to any visa application, passport or other documents, caused by, or occurring whilst any application, passport or document is in the possession of, any third party postal or courier service, including transportation of visa applications, passport or other documents between VFS Global and Embassy of France and when being returned by VFS Global to the visa applicant. In case a passport is lost or damaged in transit, the liability of VFS Global is restricted to reimbursement of fees charged for replacement of lost / damaged passport through normal application procedure. VFS Global shall not be responsible or liable for any consequential loss or damage caused to the Visa Applicant due to loss of his/her passport and supporting documents. In no event shall VFS Global and/or any of its representatives be responsible or liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages or any damages whatsoever due to such delay/ misplacement/ loss/ damage of the Documents, including the Visa Applicant's passport and related documents

It is expressly understood that when the applicant or representative of the applicant avails the services of VFS Global, the applicant has understood the terms, conditions and details here in.

Advertising material may accompany along the passport back to the applicant. If the applicant does not wish to receive any advertising material along with the passport, the applicant must intimate the VFS Global in advance. Please note that no advertising material sent back with the passport has the endorsement of the France Government.

VFS Global has placed frames/links on this website to other websites which the Visa Applicant may wish to visit. VFS Global does not review such websites and has no control over their content. Therefore VFS Global does not accept any liability if the Visa Applicants visit those websites. Once you link to another site, the Visa Applicants agree and understand to be subject to the terms and conditions of that site.

VFS Global may in its sole discretion, may change, amend, cancel or withdraw any or all of the terms and conditions mentioned herein at any time without any prior notice. No employee of VFS Global may change / amend / amplify the conditions mentioned herein without the prior written approval of VFS Global.

Negotiable Instruments, whenever applicable, are subject to realization. The fee once paid by the Visa Applicant is not refundable under any circumstances irrespective of whether or not the desired visa is granted.

For all claims, disputes of whatsoever nature, the courts in Mumbai, India shall alone have jurisdiction.

Short Messaging Services Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions

Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions

  • The Short Messaging Service (‘SMS’) provided to the Visa Applicants is to update on current status to the applicant with regards to Visa application process. The information provided by SMS is based on the information provided by The Embassy of The France in New Delhi and other consular services in India . While VFS Global ensures that information is made available to the Visa Applicants promptly and accurately, the Visa Applicant shall at all times be responsible for providing and maintaining an SMS text compatible mobile phone number where VFS Global can send text messages regarding the status of the Visa Application to the Visa Applicant. The Visa Applicant is responsible for ensuring connection to a mobile network capable of receiving the SMS Services. The Visa Applicant understands that if the Visa Applicant ‘s mobile phone is switched off, disconnected for any reasons or is out of coverage for a period of 24 hours or more, The Visa Applicant’s mobile network provider may delete any SMS messages to be received by the Visa Applicant.

  • The time to deliver the SMS is dependent on several factors such as upon the traffic on the mobile network and whether the Visa Applicant mobile phone is within reach and switched on and cannot therefore be guaranteed by VFS Global. VFS Global is not a mobile network operator and does not guarantee the delivery of SMS text messages.

  • The Visa Applicant confirms that they have provided the accurate mobile number for receiving SMS and that the Visa Applicant is the owner or its legitimate user, or that the Visa Applicant has the consent of the owner or legitimate user, of the mobile phone using for the Services. The Visa Applicant acknowledges that using another person's mobile phone/providing inaccurate mobile phone number/unauthorized use of mobile phone number for receiving the SMS may entail disclosure of Visa Applicant ‘s confidential information which disclosure shall be at the sole risk of the Visa Applicant

  • The Services, once purchased, will be available to the Visa Applicant from the time of application till complete processing of the application or such other period as VFS Global may advise via our website located at www.vfs-france.co.in . VFS Global reserves the right to withdraw this service at any time and without notice.

  • The Visa Applicant must not use (or permit any third party to use) the SMS Service to send any message or communication which is Spam, illegal, offensive, abusive, indecent, obscene or menacing or causes annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety or infringes the rights of third parties. VFS Global reserves the right to withdraw the SMS service to such Visa Applicant if The Visa Applicant is in breach of the abovementioned conditions. 4. VFS Global may also withdraw the Services if VFS Global in its sole discretion apprehends that the SMS service is being used for such purposes.

  • For operational reasons VFS Global may vary the technical specification of the Services with or without notice. In the event of any change to the Service these Terms and Conditions is to be treated as varied accordingly.

  • The Visa Applicant acknowledges that the SMS Services may, at any time, be adversely affected by problems with the Visa Applicant mobile phone network, force majeure events including, without limitation, interference to the network coverage. VFS Global is not responsible or liable to the Visa Applicant for any loss, damage or expenses incurred directly or indirectly by the Visa Applicant as a result of any difficulties experienced by the Visa Applicant‘s mobile phone service provider. Subject to the constraints described within this paragraph , VFS Global shall carry out the services with reasonable care and skill

  • If the Visa Applicant does not receive SMS relating to these Services, the Visa Applicant should inform VFS Global through email or Helpline numbers provided.

  • The SMS service delivers the Visa Application Status based on the information received by VFS Global from French Consular services in India.

  • To use the Services, the Visa Applicant should refer to the instructions available on the France-visas website (link to https://france-visas.gouv.fr/web/france-visas/accueil ). The Visa Applicant agrees to comply with all instructions VFS Global may give concerning the Services, including any security instructions. Failure in compliance of the abovementioned instructions shall entitle VFS Global to deny the Visa Applicant’s access to these Services.

  • The Visa Applicant is responsible for paying charges for the message origination. Charges once paid for SMS service will not be refunded under any circumstances.

  • The Visa Applicant shall at its sole risk be responsible for taking all reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized persons gaining access to the Services.

  • While VFS Global takes every precaution transmission of information to transmit information. VFS Global shall not be responsible or liable for any unforeseen events and circumstances beyond the reasonable control of VFS Global.

  • VFS Global may in its sole discretion temporarily suspend the provision of the Services if such provision could materially affect the quality of any telecommunications service, including the Services, provided by VFS Global.

  • VFS Global specifically excludes all liability of any kind (including negligence) in respect of any third party information or other material made available on, or which can be accessed using SMS text services.

Data Protection Notice

  • Collection of data

    The privacy and protection of personal data is very important to VFS Global, including all its other brands and affiliates (hereinafter). VFS Global complies with any mandatory data protection legislation when collecting and processing personal data. Whenever the Visa Applicant is in the process of applying for SMS Service through a visa application centre we VFS Global may collect and store (subject to Embassy guidelines), as the case may be, the following information of the Visa Applicant: Full Name, Mobile Number & Email id, Language Preference of SMS, and the country for which the Applicant has applied for a VISA for the purposes of processing the visa application.

  • Disclosure to third parties

    In accordance with all mandatory data protection legislation your data may be disclosed to third parties processing data on behalf of VFS Global /its facility management partner. In this context your data may also be transferred abroad. This data may be disclosed within VFS Global to other than the collecting entity. Data may be used by these other VFS Global entities to the same extent as the collecting VFS Global entity is entitled to use it. The Visa Applicant’s data is treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties, save for the purpose of VFS Global fulfilling its contractual obligations vis-à-vis you, or if required under mandatory law, particularly if requested by the competent authorities or for the purpose of enforcing VFS Global’s rights.

  • Use of data

    Collected data will be processed in good faith and will be used in order to transmit your Visa Application status via SMS & Email. VFS Global does do not intend to use the Visa Applicant’s information for any other purpose, except in cases where VFS Global has received consent from the Visa Applicant to use the information for the purposes of sending related marketing information (such as airline advertisements), which is normally included by VFS Global on return of the Visa Applicant’s passport and/or sent by e-mail on the registered email address. The Visa Applicant can always refuse to receive such offers and information for which they may contact VFS Global France Visa Application Centre, No 15 – 26 Block E 2nd Floor, International Trade Tower, Nehru Place, New Delhi – 110019. The Visa Applicant’s information is held by VFS Global in the computer server(s) located in UK, London. It will also be accessed and held by VFS Global’s affiliates currently based in India.

PROHIBITION AGAINST UNLAWFUL USE

While accessing or using the Site, the User will not:

  • Post any content or items in an inappropriate category or areas on the Site nor post any material in whatsoever form, on the Site for any purpose other than the normal purpose for which the Site is intended;
  • Violate any laws, third party rights, or policies of VFS Global. The user shall not hide or spoof his/her IP address or intentionally or bounce his/her communications through any intermediate computers. The user shall also not alter the logs upon gaining access;
  • Interfere with the technological operations of the Site or attempt or manipulate the content or material on Site or of any other user or users;
  • Post false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, or libellous content including personal information;
  • Use any robot, spider, search engine, scraper or other means whether manual, automated, mechanical, electrical or electronics either existing or that may be invented or discovered to access the Site and/or to do any of the acts mentioned above for any purpose other than the normal purpose for which the Site is intended; Additionally, User agrees not to:
  • Take any action that imposes or may impose (in our sole discretion) an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on VFS Global ’s infrastructure;
  • Interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site or any activities conducted on the Site; or
  • Bypass our robot exclusion headers or other measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Site.
  • Do or take any action that may undermine the feedback or ratings systems, such as displaying, importing or exporting feedback information of the Site or for using it for purposes unrelated to VFS Global;
  • Access or attempt to gain root access, use any manual, mechanical, electrical or electronic means, computer programs, exploits, hacker tools, or scripts, software or hardware tools, search engines either existing or that may be invented either directly, indirectly or through any contrivance to change, modify, post, violate, misuse, abuse, erase, hack, distort, slow down, configure any system, website, to work for them, or to cause denial of services to other users or on other computers or down the Site or its user features;
  • Send, post, plant or distribute viruses or any other technologies that may harm VFS Global , or the interests or property of users;
  • Copy, modify, or distribute content from the Site and/or VFS Global's copyrights and trademarks or other intellectual property;
  • Harvest or otherwise collect information about other users, their details, or any information relating to any other user’s passport details, email addresses, etc.
    In case of any unlawful, illegal or prohibited use, the User shall be liable for action under local laws as amended from time to time.

LIMITATION OF USE

Without limiting other remedies, VFS Global may at its sole discretion or at the advice or under the directions of its clients limit, suspend, terminate temporarily or permanently, disable or prevent a visa applicant/user from accessing/making use of its service, prohibit access to its website/s, remove hosted content, and take technical and legal steps to keep user/s off the Site if VFS Global thinks that the User is or is attempting to resort to abnormal usage or abuse, creating problems, potential or otherwise or possible legal liabilities, or is not acting consistently with the normal usage.

CONTENT LICENSE

When the visa applicant/ user provides VFS Global content which shall include personal information of user and audio signals / video images of the visa applicant/user and/or stored in CD/DVD and made available to the Embassy when required, the visa applicant/user hereby gives consent to VFS Global for using all such Information and/or storing such User Information and making available to the Embassy when required and grants VFS Global a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free and sub licensable right to exercise the copyright, publicity, and database rights the user has in the User Information, in any media known now or in the future. VFS Global has taken necessary steps to implement and maintain security practices and procedures to protect User Information from unauthorized access, damage, use, modification, disclosure or impairment. VFS Global has in place suitable protection mechanism and guidelines for usage, retention and protection of User Information against unauthorized access, disclosure or abuse.

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY

While VFS Global makes and strives to provide secure and continuous connectivity and internet access, VFS Global, the Embassy and/or its clients shall not be responsible or liable to a visa applicant/user for any loss or consequential damage, including among other things, any loss of dates obtained, time, data or information furnished or entered on the website or the application forms, etc. which may, among other things, have occurred as a result of any events or acts leading to interruptions in internet connectivity, transmission of signals, server breakdown, systems crashing, hacking, servicing and any other events or acts. Visa applicant/user agrees not to hold VFS Global responsible for other users' actions or inactions, including acts or things as a result of which there may be loss of connectivity, loss of dates and/or loss of data furnished.

Further, while secure and continuous access to the service is sought to be provided, VFS Global does not guarantee continuous or secure access to its services and operation of the Site, as the same may be interfered by numerous factors outside the control of VFS Global. Accordingly, to the extent legally permitted, VFS Global excludes all implied warranties, terms and conditions. VFS Global is not liable for any loss of money, time, goodwill, or reputation, or any direct, special, indirect, or consequential loss or damages arising out of the visa applicant/user’s use of its website.

INDEMNITY

The visa applicant/user agrees to indemnify and hold VFS Global, its officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint venture partners and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of the breach of this Agreement, or violation by the user of any law of any country or the rights of a third party

Privacy Policy


Scope

VFS GLOBAL is an outsourced partner of Diplomatic Missions across globe, and is authorized to receive applications for various categories of visa, permit and travel document and perform administrative and non-judgmental tasks/functions related to the same, as per the mandate of concerned Diplomatic Missions. By virtue of processing these applications, VFS Global acts as a data processor and the respective Diplomatic Mission/s are the data controller. This Privacy Policy describes how VFS Global collects, uses, discloses and manages personal information related to individuals (hereinafter referred to as “Applicant/s”) applying for visas and permits, and makes available to relevant authorities for the purpose detailed below.

Purpose of collection, use, disclosure etc. of Personal Information

Applicants may be required to provide certain information pertaining to them such as name, photograph, address, date of birth, telephone number, passport information, birth certificate, income, citizenship status, marital status, employment details, criminal and educational background information etc. This information is collected as per the requirement mandated by the concerned Diplomatic Missions / Governments and/ or relevant Visa Offices.

Such personal information may be collected, used or disclosed in order to facilitate the processing of visa application(s) and/or request(s) including but not limited to for the following purposes:

  • Process applications received for requests for various categories of visa, permit and travel documents etc. and perform various tasks/ functions related thereto;
  • Respond to various inquiries on the visa application submission process in general.
  • Respond to various inquiries regarding status of application made with VFS Global;
  • Provide/ offer any other services as per requirements of the respective Governments /Diplomatic Missions. Provision of personal information is voluntary. Please note, however, that a refusal to provide personal information may limit or affect ability of VFS Global to provide the requested services.

    As mandated by the Diplomatic Mission/s, VFS Global may (by itself of through third party service providers/ vendors) provide various facilities for inquiries related visa application process in general and/ or status of visa applications submitted through VFS Global such as call centre, online tracking, e-mail etc.

  • Inquiry about general visa application process:
  • Users making inquiries as regards visa application process in general, need not provide any personal information.
  • Inquiry about status of submitted visa application/s:
  • Users making inquiries as regards status of visa application submitted through VFS Global can quote application reference number to receive an update on the status of their visa, permit or travel document applications.
  • The users may be requested to provide personal information such as given name or family name or date of birth or phone number or street address or email address or application date etc. or combination of such information for verification/ authentication purposes.
  • Users making inquiries as regards visa application process however should not ask or reveal the passport number or personal information while interacting via email with VFS Global and/or its third party service providers/ vendors. Instead use of application reference number is recommended. VFS Global shall not be obliged to respond to e-mails containing personal information. In case any personal information is disclosed, the same shall be at the sole risk of the Users/ applicants and VFS Global will not be in any manner responsible for any events of misuse etc.

    For the quality control purposes the interaction/s with user/s may be recorded. In such cases the user/s will be informed of this practice and purpose at the start of any such interaction. Unless a different requirement is mandated by the respective Diplomatic Mission/s, such recordings will be purged after a period of 30 days from the date of such interaction/s.

Interview Scheduling:

Certain Diplomatic Missions may require the Visa Applicants to attend for personal interview. Applicants will be required to provide their application reference number and/or certain personal information such as family name, given name, date of birth, phone number, street address, email address, application date, and passport number for purpose of scheduling interviews.

All such information, posted, furnished and submitted by the Visa Applicants while scheduling an interview appointment is converted into such formats as may be required and communicated to the respective Diplomatic Mission having jurisdiction to receive such application/s.

Certain data and information related to visa applications received by VFS Global is presently stored/ hosted at data centre/s in UK (London) and India (Mumbai). The data captured by VFS Global in its systems for processing of visa applications of applicants from European Union is stored within the European Union (EU) boundary. The data of applicants other than that from EU may be stored in VFS Global systems at data centre in UK (London).

This information may be used, disclosed by VFS Global for performing its various obligations towards respective Diplomatic Missions and will be purged within 30 (thirty) days from the date of receipt by VFS Global. However no information/ data containing Personal Information of the Applicant/s is stored at the data centre/s mentioned above.

Disclosures of Personal Information:

VFS Global will not trade, rent or sell personal information of the Visa Applicants. VFS Global does disclose or otherwise transfer Personal Information of the Visa Applicants, except as otherwise set out herein. Personal Information will be used only for the purposes of providing services and performing its various obligations.

However VFS Global may need to disclose and share Personal Information when it is necessary to comply with a court order, any on-going judicial proceeding, or other legal, statutory or regulatory process served on VFS Global or to exercise the legal rights or defend against legal claims, criminal investigations, judicial matters or in prevention, investigation, detection, prosecution of criminal activities or matters related to national security.

Service Provider Arrangements: VFS Global may disclose (or otherwise make available) personal information to third party service providers providing services like courier delivery, SMS, call centre services. These third party service providers are provided with such information they need to perform their designated functions and are not authorized to use or disclose personal information for their own purposes. For example, where the visa applicant has opted for courier service, VFS Global will disclose certain Personal data such as name, address, phone number to the third party courier service providers. However personal information will not be shared with service provider/s for SMS service/s. Such third party service providers are also required to adhere to security & privacy requirements as outlined by VFS Global.

VFS Global shall have no liability for any delays, or for loss of or damage to any visa application, passport or other documents, caused by, or occurring whilst any application, passport or document is in the possession of, any third party postal or courier service, including transportation of visa applications, passport or other documents between VFS Global and French Embassy and when being returned by VFS Global to the visa applicant.

Cookies

Cookies are files or pieces of information that may be stored on system or internet enabled devices of the User, when the User visits the website/s of VFS Global. VFS Global uses cookies to make the website/s simpler to use. VFS Global cannot identify the User personally from this information.

  • VFS Global website offers certain features that are only available through the use of cookies.
  • The cookies help website users and maintain their signed-in status.
  • Most cookies are "session cookies," meaning that they are automatically deleted from website user’s hard drive at the end of a session when the applicant/user exits the website. However “Persistent cookies” remain in place across multiple visits to our websites.

SPAM

  • VFS Global does not tolerate spam.
  • VFS Global website/s or communication tools shall not be used to send spam or otherwise send content that would violate the terms and conditions of VFS Global user agreement.
  • VFS Global filters and automatically scans messages for viruses and other illegal or prohibited content before they are sent.
  • To report any issues related to spam or spoof emails to VFS Global, please address e-mails to communications@vfsglobal.com.
  • VFS Global does not permanently store email messages sent to or by it through various formats. VFS Global does not rent or sell any email addresses to third parties.

Security

VFS Global has implemented measures designed to help protect personal information in its custody and control. VFS Global maintains reasonable administrative, technical, physical and organizational safeguards in an effort to protect personal information in its custody and control. However VFS Global shall not be liable for unlawful access, use, modification, destruction, destruction or interceptions by unauthorized persons.

Retention and Destruction of Personal Information:

Application packages collected from Applicants will not be copied or retained by VFS Global. Unless otherwise mandated by the concerned Diplomatic Mission, any other paper, hard copies, forms or other records containing personal information will be destroyed by a secure shredding process within thirty (30) days of a passport’s return to an applicant.

For the purposes of assisting the Applicants should they contact VFS Global with follow-up queries, Applicant personal information may be retained in electronic form, after passport and/or documents have been returned to the Applicants, for a maximum of thirty (30) days or for such period as specified by the respective Governments/ Diplomatic Missions.

VFS Global performs secure disposal or destruction of personal information on the equipment or devices used for storing personal information. When disposing of equipment or devices used for storing personal information (such as filing cabinets, computers, diskettes, and audio tapes), VFS Global takes appropriate measures such as to removal or deletion of any stored information to prevent access by unauthorized parties.

Legal

VFS Global and its third party service providers/ vendors may provide personal information in response to a search warrant or other legally valid inquiry pursuant to contravention of law / order or to an investigative body or as otherwise required or permitted by applicable law VFS Global may also disclose personal information where necessary for the establishment, exercise or a defence of legal claims, or as otherwise permitted by law .

VFS Global website may contain links to other/ third party sites promoting various products and/or services that VFS Global does not own or operate.. These links to websites are in nature of paid advertising are not verified by VFS Global. To Personal Information

Please note that disclosure of personal information is voluntary. The Visa Applicants / Users disclosing personal information shall be deemed to have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consents to use and disclosure of the personal information as provided in this Privacy Policy. The Visa Applicants / Users have right to withdraw their consent prior to further disclosure of the personal information by VFS Global to the Diplomatic Missions / Governments and/ or relevant Visa Offices or other third parties.

The Visa Applicant/s have rights to their personal information provided by them. Users may request access to their personal information by writing an email to the Info email ID mentioned on the “Contact Us” page with subject line as “Subject Access Request”. This request will be forwarded to the respective Governments/ Diplomatic Missions since they are the data controllers and further action will be taken by VFS Global based on the directions received by the respective Governments/ Diplomatic Missions.

VFS Global shall not be responsible to ascertain authenticity or accuracy of the information provided by the Applicant. It shall be the duty of the Applicant to ensure that the information provided to VFS Global is accurate, complete and up to date.

Beware of fraudulent job offers


Fraudulent Recruitment / Employment Offers

It has come to VFS Global’s attention that, individuals misrepresenting themselves as VFS Global’ agents or representatives have approached people to offer fraudulent/fictitious employment opportunities, with the intent to steal personal information or solicit money from people. VFS Global encourages the Visa Applicants/Users to exercise caution and common sense when receiving any such employment offer, which requires payment of any fees/money, or promises a work visa in exchange for money. The said offers are completely fake and not valid. VFS Global is not a Recruitment agency and does not offer recruitment services. Scammers operate primarily via the internet, email, phone etc. VFS Global warns people to beware of such scams.

Please be advised that, VFS Global is a visa processing company and works only with government and diplomatic missions to fulfil their administrative requirements of visa application processing. Neither VFS Global nor its representatives will ask for money from individuals under any circumstances to lure them with employment opportunities either in VFS Global or outside. If you receive any offer that purports to be from VFS Global, which ask for money, these types of offers are fraudulent.

Warning signs of recruitment fraud

The following are some examples of recruitment fraud which are in violation of VFS Global’s processes and ethical practices:

  • The email is not sent from an official VFS Global e-mail address but from a free e-mail service such as: Hotmail, Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc. It is also possible that, the email is sent from a fake email address.
  • The Visa Applicant/Users are asked to disclose private or confidential information.
  • The Visa Applicant/Users are asked to be interviewed over the phone or via an instant-messenger type program.
  • The Visa Applicant/Users are requested to pay fees/money.
  • The Visa Applicant/Users are requested to complete bogus recruitment documentations such as an application or employment visa forms, (the VFS Global name and logo could be forged/fabricated and featured on the documentation without authority).
  • Insistence on urgency.
  • Money will be requested for processing Work Permits, Visa applications or the like.

Such actions are presumably intended to defraud or obtain personal information from the victims.

The activities of these individuals involve criminal and civil liabilities. While VFS Global takes such matter seriously and reserves its right to contact competent law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute such illegal activities, it is often difficult to locate and prosecute these individuals.

Therefore, if the Visa Applicant/Users receives a request, either in writing or verbally, for an interview or a job offer that is believed to be or might be fraudulent or suspicious, VFS Global urges the users to please disregard them and verify the same with VFS Global at communications@vfsglobal.com

If you the Visa Applicant/Users come to know that a fraud is being perpetrated, VFS Global encourages to forthwith contact \ the local police and/or any competent authorities and also to keep VFS Global informed by reporting the fraud at acco@vfsglobal.com
